EPL giant, Chelsea’s pursuit of Victor Osimhen could receive some encouragement as they continue to monitor affair of the player.

The Napoli and Nigeria forward is one of the most in-demand strikers in the world.

Per Fabrizio Romano, Osimhen looks unlikely to sign a new contract with the Naples-based team.

While Napoli want to tie him down, he is reluctant to commit to a long term contract.

That means Chelsea, who are huge admirers of Osimhen, may have a chance to swoop in with an offer.

Napoli do rate Osimhen at more than £100 million, especially in the January transfer window.
