Troops of 114 Taskforce Battalion have reportedly rescued another abducted Chibok school girl.

The rescued girl named Hauwa Maltha is said to be the number 2 person Abducted school girls list.

The 26 years old girl was said to have been rescued by troops during clearance operations at Lagara, on April 21, 2023, alongside her 3-year-old child.

Sources told Zagazola Makama, a Counter-Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst that while in captivity Hauwa got married in Gulukos to one Salman, a cameraman to the late terrorists’ leader, Shekau.

Salman later died in Lake Chad and she married one Mallam Muhammad in Gobara and had 2 children for him. Her second husband was also killed in Ukuba terrorist enclave in the Sambisa forest during clashes between JAS and ISWAP.

Hauwa was found to be 8 months pregnant when she was rescued and has undergone a thorough medical examination alongside her baby.

Meanwhile, troops of Sector 3 Multinational Joint Task Force, (MNJTF), have arrested 19 suspected Boko Haram elements and recovered several weapons from their hideouts in the North East of Borno.

Makama said the suspected terrorists were intercepted and arrested on April 29, at Kangori village, located about 17km West of Damasak, during intensified patrols, raids and mop up operation by the troops of OPERATION DESERT/LAKE SANITY II, at the Bulabulin General area.

The troops have also recovered some IEDs-making materials as well as six Ak-47 magazines in addition to burning down some terrorist settlements in the area
