Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
Two Kwara State University (KWASU) second-year students were discovered deceased in their dorm room.
Tobiloba Daniel and Arewa Abayomi, the students, were discovered to be unclothed.
Before the event, Daniel and Abayomi, who are rumored to be lovers, were taking their examinations.
“We suspect there were lovers,” a student told The Nation. “We became concerned when they were not seen during the current exam at the university and also in their class for three days.
“Some of their pals discovered them both dead and naked when they arrived at their hostel outside the school. We believe there has been poisoning.
According to the spokesperson for KWASU, Hajia Saeedat Aliyu, there has been no official communication on the subject.
Ajayi Okasanmi, a spokesman for the police, confirmed the incident.
“According to the information, the two of them were discovered dead in their room, and the police were notified,” he said.
“Our officers opened the door, and they were transported for an autopsy to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH). An investigation is being conducted.
