Nigeria’s U-17 side, the Golden Eaglets will commence preparation for the 2023 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Abuja on Monday.

Head coach of the side, Nduka Ugbade has already extended invitation to 48 players for the camping exercise.

All the invited players are expected to report to camp today.

Ugbade kept faith with majority of the players that won the WAFU B U-17 last summer in Ghana.

The Golden Eaglets won the tournament after defeating Cote d’l voire 2-1 in the final.

Algeria will host the 2023 U-17 AFCON from April 8-30.

The four semi-finalists will qualify to fly Africa’s flag at the FIFA U-17 World Cup finals that will be staged in Peru from 10th November – 2nd December
