Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will now train in Argentina ahead of the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) earlier planned for the team to train in Spain but called it off because of logistical challenges.

The Flying Eagles will now enjoy an extended stay in host nation, Argentina.

The two-time finalists, all things being equal, will depart for the South American country early next month.

Majority of the invited foreign-based players are expected to join the team in Argentina.

The Flying Eagles are drawn in Group D with Brazil, Italy and Dominican Republic.

Ladan Bosso’s side will open their campaign against Dominican Republic in Mendoza on May 21.
