TRACKING____A UN Peace Ambassador and the deputy director of media and publicity of PDP 2019 Bayelsa state governorship election, Architect Miebi Bribena has congratulated the governor of Bayelsa state, Senator Douye Diri as the Court of Appeal sitting in Owerri dismisses appeal filed by Chief Ndutimi Alaibe challenging the Peoples Democratic Party primaries that produced him as the governorship candidate of the party in the State.

Bribena while congratulating the governor, noted that he is indeed a miracle governor as God has indeed been fighting all his battles.

He described the victory of Senator Diri as divine and a proof that God has a purpose for him and an agenda for the state which only he can fulfill at this time in the history of the state.

Architect Bribena expressed confidence in the ability and capacity of Governor Douye Diri to change the narrative of the state and pledge his total support and commitment to the present administration

The PDP Chieftain stressed that Senator Diri’s dogged determination to be victorious has taught young Bayelsans to be resolute and resilient in chasing their dreams in spite of limitations and in the face of daunting challenges.

Bribena equally thanked the PDP family in the state for their steadfastness and peaceful disposition and urged them to maintain same to usher in rapid socioeconomic development in the state.

He described the dismissal of the appeal as a divine intervention by God to put the state on the right tract of economic prosperity ably led by Senator Diri.

It would be recalled that the former MD of the NDDC, Chief Timi Alaibe had lost to Diri at the lower court, prompting him to approach the court of appeal.

His prayer was that the court should either nullify the entire processes that led to the emergence Diri as candidate of the PDP or declare him winner of the primary election.
