UPDATE: Wike Invites Gbajabiamila To Commission Rivers Legislative Quarters

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has invited the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila to commission the official residences of the members of the Rivers State House of Assembly.

His invitation to Gbajabiamila is coming two days after inviting Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

It was gathered Wike personally wrote a letter to Gbajabiamila inviting the Speaker to commission the Legislative Quarters, built by his administration.

The commissioning will be taking place on Friday, August 12, 2022.

The speaker will commission the Legislative Quarters and also assist in handing over the same to the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly.

Wike Hosts Wamakko

Wike had on Tuesday morning played host to a former Sokoto State Governor, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko.

Tracknews reports that Wamakko, who was hosted at Wike’s country home, is in Rivers State to commission the dualised Ogbunabali road in Port Harcourt.

Wike has been meeting with governors of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) after falling out with the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
