Wamakko loses younger brother

TRACKING_____The District Head of Gedawa in Wamakko local government of Sokoto state, Alhaji Buba Dangaladima Wamakko, a younger brother to Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, is dead.
Dangaladima, 66, died in the early hours of Monday, April 6, 2020, at the Uthmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto after a protracted illness.
The funeral prayer led by the Chief Imam of Wamakko, Liman Shehu Wamakko was conducted at the residence of the deceased in Wamakko town .
In attendance were Wamakko; a former Deputy Governor and APC Gubernatorial Candidate, Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto; Magajin Rafin Sokoto; Alhaji Rilwanu Bello; Galadiman Garin Sokoto Alhaji Aliyu Attahiru; State APC Chairman, Alhaji Isa Sadiq Achida as well as other state and local governments executives of the party .
Also at the funeral prayer were the Member representing Kware and Wamakko Federal Constituency, Alhaji Ahmed Abdullahi Kalambaina; former Member representing Sokoto North and Sokoto South Federal Constituency, Alhaji Bala Hassan as well as other serving and retired State and National Assembly members and several District Heads, serving and retired civil servants, family members, friends , relatives and sympathisers.
Shiekh Bashir Gidan Kanawa presided over a prayer session for the repose of the soul of the deceased who is survived by a Wife, eight children several grand and great grandchildren.
Late Buba Dangaladima Wamakko was turbanned as District Head of Gedawa by the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Saad Abubakar on April 7, 2014.
