The Governor of Jigawa state, Abubakar Badaru has alleged that he doubted the Governor of Rivers State, Wike when he promised to deliver his state for the All Progressive Congress in the Presidential election. He openly revealed that he wondered how this would have been possible because APC has never gotten 25% in any election in Rivers state.
He pointed out that the governor assured them that this would be possible in his state for the first time in its history. He added that during all the campaigns and the activities of the pre-elections, Wike stood by them and kept on convincing them of victory at the polls. The Jigawa governor jokingly praised Wike for sabotaging his own party and creating trouble to destabilize them before the election.
He said, ”I will like to thank the most sincerely, Governor Nyesom Wike on behalf of our father, President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. I will like to thank him for doing so many things. He gave us the encouragement to start this movement. And then secondly, we thank you for sabotaging and creating trouble for PDP. And thirdly, I want to thank him for encouraging us always.
