Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports.

When Rivers State Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike speaks out about losing both the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential primary and the selection of a running mate to the winner, he ends up justifying why no one, let alone the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, would have settled for him.

Wike’s leadership quotient is not only unfit for the office he currently holds, but he would have been a disaster if he had been chosen to run alongside Atiku in the 2023 presidential election.

Wike is a bitter loser whose belief in the power of money has created the type of delusion that can only lead to self-destruction. Unfortunately, he appears to be hell-bent on bringing down the entire house, regardless of the consequences to their collective stake.

Wike has paid his dues in the PDP, and the party has indulged him over the years. He had been given the opportunity to choose who would become the party’s national chairmen, as well as the same number of times to remove them, even when such decisions threatened the party’s overall interests.

However, because the party saw him as a critical stakeholder and valued everything he had done and was doing for them, many of his excesses were overlooked, especially given the need for peace to reign. It’s no surprise, then, that Wike has begun to take these advantages for granted, believing that he is superior to everyone else because he has the largest war chest.

The PDP, on the other hand, must now put him in his place. What has been decreed cannot be undone by his worst. After all, if he said nothing about the Osun governorship election, his body language suggested he didn’t wish the party well. Nonetheless, it ended by praising the PDP.

As a result, the PDP leadership can no longer afford to allow Wike to play God and must cut him and his cohorts down to size. If performance determines how people vote, only a few of them can campaign in front of the public. They’re all nothing more than trash!
