Former Director-General of House-to-house Campaign Organisation for Jonathan/Sambo 2015 and the Chief Executive Officer of TrackNews Online Hon. Ogidi Ben Bara also known as OBB has called on the leadership of PDP to respect the efforts of Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike for holding the party up till now.

Ogidi Ben Bara specially advised the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to reconcile all aggrieved party members ensure that all disputes are settled especially regarding the choice of running mate.

Atiku had picked Delta State Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, as his running mate based on some qualities.

OBB on behalf of the youths expressed anger with the way and mode the running mate was selected.

They hoped Wike would have been a good match and it would have attracted bulk votes from the South-South and South-East to the party if he was picked.

However, since the die is cast and there’s a presidential and vice presidential candidate, OBB urged the PDP to come up with a way of pacifying angry party faithfuls.

He also called for the resignation of the PDP National Chairman, Ayu Iyorchia.

He said it is unfair to have a Presidential Candidate, BoT Chairman and National Chairman all from the North, saying power must shift to other regions.

He finally condemn the way the party leadership is ignoring activities in other states especially the recent Ekiti Gubernatorial election.

OBB said the party ignored the governorship candidate, Otunba Olabisi Kolawole, even Atiku Abubakar did not go to state to campaign for the party’s flagbearer.

“The Osun State Governorship Election is on Saturday, July 16th and there is no serious effort by the party to reclaim power from the ruling party, APC.

“Let the leadership rise up to its duties”, OBB said .
