Asabe a Nasarawa woman has allegedly poisoned her son to death while trying to kill her stepson at the Doma area of the state.

A community resident who gave his only name as Ben, while confirming the incident told WAR, immediately Wilfred, the stepson ate the food he started purging and never recovered until he died.

He added that the deceased mother raised an alarm leading to the community residents assembling.

The deceased while purging uncontrollably said he ate a plate of food put on the table inside his brother’s room, pointing out that his mom was cooking the food while he left for Lafia.

Community residents who gathered at the deceased mother alarm started beating the women and threatening to kill her before she confessed to having poisoned the stepson.
