Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo has hit back at former team-mate, Wayne Rooney, after he suggested that the club should let him leave at the end of the season.
Rooney, speaking as a pundit for Sky Sports on Monday evening, delivered a scathing verdict of United following their 1-1 draw at home to Leicester City last weekend.
Unitedâs record goalscorer said
âthere are a few players they need to let goâ this summer and named Ronaldo and Paul Pogba.
But Ronaldo has hit back at Rooney with a blunt comment on Instagram.
Rooney posted a picture of himself on the show, alongside host Dave Jones and fellow pundit Jamie Carragher, but Ronaldo replied:
âTwo jealousâ.
