Senator Dino Melaye, a former federal lawmaker, has declared that it is impossible to promote the All Progressives Congress and APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, without appearing stupid, TrackNews Reports.
Dino, who appeared on a program on Friday, claimed that the APC government’s alleged failure has made it difficult for party candidates to gain acceptance in the country.
Former Kogi State governor Bola Tinubu and Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, according to Tinubu, are no match for Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Atiku Abubakar.
Dino, who was recently appointed as the campaign council’s spokesperson, also chastised the Minister of Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, for his recent remark about Tinubu.
He stated,
“Through their colossal failure, this government marketed Atiku.” Today, the most difficult candidate to sell is an APC candidate for the House of Representatives, the Senate, or the governorship.
“That is why you can’t defend, promote, or campaign for Bola Ahmed Tinubu without coming across as stupid.” This is what happened to my brother and friend, Festus Keyamo, when he began speaking off topic. He began saying things that made no sense.”
