Media personality Tacha has informed social media why it’s necessary to clap whenever they see celebrities.
Tagging celebrities lifestyle as ‘high maintenance’, the controversial reality TV star-turned-actress argued it’s the very reason they should always be hailed at all times because, a whole lot of money is required to fund it.
She went on to narrate how an immigration officer at Heathrow airport wallowed in disbelief when she told her the length of time she spent in Dubai from where she flew into the UK.
In a video shared by the influencer on Twitter, she said: “So, you’ve not heard that being a celebrity is high maintenance. I’m sorry but yes, it is. It’s a whole lot of money.
“And this occasion happening this morning just reminded me of when I was at Heathrow airport and the immigration officer just kept on asking, ‘How long did you spend in Dubai?’
“I was like, ‘I spent a month and couple of more days’. And she’s like, ‘What do you do?’ I said, ‘Influencer!’
“The woman still dey confuse o! She was like, ‘You were in Dubai for a month and you’re in the UK. How much are you with here in the UK? Like she dey confuse like, ‘how?’
“How is it possible that you’re going to be in another man’s country for that long? It’s crazy!! It is crazy!
“So when you see the celebrities, you clap for them. It is a lot.
“That’s why I laugh at the ones that try to impress all of you commenters because, I’m going to impress myself first. The rest of the people can take care of themselves because this money, we worked for it.
In another tweet, Tacha wrote: “They think this celebrity life is cheap!!!! I laugh in 10D.”
