Former Zamfara State Governor and All Progressives Congress (APC) Zamfara West Senatorial candidate Alhaji Abdulaziz Yari assured his adoring supporters in the state that he was still a member of the APC.
Yari stated this during a rally he organized at his Talata-Mafara country home to reassure his supporters that formidable strategies have been put in place to kick-start his campaign in grand style.
He, on the other hand, assured that there would be no bitter politics, stating that his campaign committee would advise his supporters on how to conduct themselves during campaign periods.
Earlier, the APC state chairman, Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani, stated that there was no faction in the party and that all cracked walls had been repaired.
“The members of the APC in the state are now one united family because we have resolved to work together as a team,” he added.
Former governor Alhaji Mahmuda Aliyu Shinkafi and former minister Senator Tijani Kaura were among those who attended the event.
Others included an APC governorship candidate in 2019 and former Commissioner of Finance, Hon. Shehu Idris, among others.
