Chelsea’s assistant coach Gianfranco Zola has rued Victor Moses inability to show his class at the club under new manager Maurizio Sarri reports Completesports.com.

Moses was sent out on loan for the fourth time since he joined the Blues in 2012. The former Crystal Palace and Wigan winger has had loan spells at Liverpool, Stoke and West Ham.

The former Nigerian international arrived at Stamford Bridge from Wigan for £9m in 2012 and scored 18 goals in 128 games but will play for Fenerbahce for the next 18 months.

Moses joined Turkish club Fenerbahce after been restricted to five appearances this season, with his only start coming in Chelsea’s 1-0 win over Liverpool in the Carabao Cup in September 2018.

But despite that, the Chelsea legend hailed Moses’ professionalism while he was sidelined from Chelsea’s first team.

“Chelsea have given him permission to talk to the Fenerbahce team and they are trying to find a possibility,” Zola revealed during his pre-match conference ahead of the Blues clash against Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup fourth round on Sunday.

“It’s a pity because he’s a wonderful professional and it is a pity that he couldn’t find the opportunities to show his value.

Moses completed his medical on Wednesday and has been announced as a player of Fenerbahce on Friday.

The 28 year old could make his Turkish league debut for Fenerbahce on Monday when they host Yeni Malatyaspor.

Fenerbahce sits two points from the bottom of the Turkish top flight division, 21 points behind leaders Istanbul Basaksehir.
