The national anthem will not be played before Chelsea, Manchester City, or Rangers’ Champions League games on Wednesday night, per UEFA’s decision.

“According to a statement, “There will be no anthems sung, including the UEFA Champions League hymn, in order to maintain a consistent pre-match ceremonial with a somber tone and without any celebratory actions across all UK venues to pay respect, as we did last Thursday.
