27 NYSC members receive service extension in Osun

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Osun State has revealed that 27 corps members will have their service year extended for various infractions.
The NYSC also stated that 20 corps members absconded during the 2021 Batch C Stream II service year.
The Osun NYSC State Coordinator, Olayinka Abdulwahab made this known during the low key passing out ceremony held for the 2021 Batch C Stream II on Thursday.
During the passing out ceremony held at the local government secretariats across the State, Abdulwahab stated a total of 2870 corps members of the 2021 Batch C Stream II successfully completed their one year mandatory service to the nation.
She hailed the corps members for successfully scaling through the scheme and for being good ambassadors at their various places of primary assignment during the service year
“I hail you for successfully scaling through the four cardinal programmes of the scheme and for being good ambassadors of the scheme at your various places of primary assignment during the service year.
“I commended the doggedness and tenacity of the Corps Members and thank you for impacting the lives of the people of the State positively.
“A total of 20 Corps members absconded, while 27 had their service year extended for various infractions.”
