2023: Tinubu constitutes security team, appoints Buratai, Ex-Lagos CPC guber candidate Mumuni, others

Presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed the 2011 gubernatorial candidate of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) in Lagos State, Ambassador Abayomi Nurain Mumuni as a member of his campaign’s intelligence and security team.
The appointment was conveyed in a letter addressed to Mumuni and signed by the Secretary, PCC, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke.
It was gathered that the team which has prominent security experts as members is an arm of Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) for the 2023 general elections.
Other members of the team included retired military chiefs, General Jubril Abdulmalik and General Abayomi Olorunisakin who are to co-head the team and former Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Burutai (retd) and Mr. Sadiq Garba both as deputy directors.
The letter addressed to Mumuni, a chieftain of APC in Lagos State reads: “On behalf of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), I humbly wish to inform you of your nomination to serve as a member of intelligence and security. Your nomination to serve is a clarion call to national duty
