APC denies vandalizing PDP campaign billboards in Plateau.
Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
In Plateau State, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has denied claims made by the Peoples Democratic Party that it intends to destroy PDP billboards and posters ahead of the party’s presidential flag-off in the state next week.
Sylvanus Namang, the state publicity secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), described the allegations as baseless, unbelievable, and unfounded, as well as an attempt to garner undue sympathy.
According to the statement, the PDP’s claims are intended to provoke the APC, which has remained a very responsible and responsive party fully aware of its social contract with the people, and that the PDP’s desperation to stir up sentiments will not change or make it win the state election in 2023.
Namang claimed that the PDP has not slept since the announcement of Jos as the flag-off venue for the APC Presidential Campaign on November 15th, and that the PDP is also aware of the large number of defectors who would be welcome to join the APC.
