He’s so big, difficult to play against – Arsenal’s Jesus hails Liverpool star
Gabriel Jesus, an Arsenal striker, has praised Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker, saying the 30-year-old is “so big and difficult to play against.”
Jesus praised Becker and defended his shots while training with the Brazilian national team.
Both Jesus and Becker are currently preparing for the FIFA World Cup in 2022.
“I’ve played against Alisson in Brazil, and he’s extremely difficult,” Jesus told Sky Sports.
“I went one-on-one with him twice, and both times he defended my shots.” They were good shots, and he defended them due to Alisson’s size.
“Brazil has some excellent goalkeepers.” He is so good even with Weverton in Palmeiras. We are fortunate to have them.”
Jesus faced Becker in a Premier League match at Emirates Stadium in October, when Arsenal defeated Liverpool 3-2.
