How Police arrest two suspected rapists in Kebbi

The Kebbi State Police Command said it has arrested two men for allegedly raping two minors in the Danko/Wasagu and Augie local government areas of the state.
In a statement on Sunday, the command’s Public Relations Officer said the state Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Magaji-Kontagora, said one Christopher Pills, 30 years old, who lived in Bena town in Danko/Wasagu LGA of the state, allegedly raped a nine-year-old girl
According to the statement, CP Magaji-Kontagora, who assured that the suspect would be charged in court as soon as the investigation is completed, noted that the victim’s father reported the suspect to the police, which led to his arrest.
According to him, the police had also arrested one Anas Dantalli, 19, of Nawada Illela Kwaido in Augie LGA, for allegedly raping a young girl
The CP said that the victim’s father, Mr Rugga Aliyu of Mashekari Illela Kwaido, Augie LGA, reported at the Divisional Police Headquarters, Augie, that, the suspect, Dantalli, pursued his daughters while they were rearing goats and sheep in the bush.
He said following this, the suspect had carnal knowledge of the girl, adding that the suspect would be charged to court as soon as investigations were completed
