Anthony Martial apologizes after clash with Man Utd star in training
Manchester United forward, Anthony Martial, has apologised after a confrontation with the club’s youngster, Dan Gore, in training.
According to The Guardian, Martial was on the receiving end of a strong challenge from Gore during a training session at Carrington last Wednesday.
The France international retaliated, but Gore refused to back down.
Both players had to be pulled apart, with Martial apologising to the 18-year-old, who was signed from Burnley in the summer, after the incident.
Martial is continuing to train with Man United after not being selected for the France squad at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Meanwhile, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag told Gore that first-team players should not be challenged in training because of the possibility of injuries occurring
