Tinubu: Peter Obi is not what Nigeria needs, and mentioning his name is disgraceful.
Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, has stated that mentioning the name of his Labour Party (LP) counterpart, Peter Obi, would be a disgrace.
Tinubu made the remarks during a rally in Gbaramatu, Delta state, on Friday.
Obi’s “wrong statistics,” according to the former Lagos governor, are not what Nigeria needs right now.
Tinubu went on to say that he is one of “a few” presidential candidates still running.
“As I stand before you, there are a few of us left running,” he said. One person claims he is Atiku. How many times has he tried to run? He is always on the move and exhausted. Tell him to take a seat. Enough already.
“The other one thinks we’re going to chop statistics. He conceals himself with arithmetic that no Indian can solve. It is a disgrace to even mention his name. I won’t mention the name. Wrong arithmetic, wrong statistics, warehouse economy — that is not what Nigeria needs.”
