2023: Atiku, Peter Obi are serial betraiers, according to Fani-Kayode.
Former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode has described Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi as “serial betrayers.”
In a recent Channels Television interview, the former minister called Atiku a traitor for working against the administration of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Fani-Kayode also stated that Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is a better choice for Nigerians than his opponents.
The APC leader also dismissed Obi’s chances in the 2023 elections, claiming that the LP candidate drove Northerners out of Anambra during his eight-year governorship.
“Atiku is always praising Obasanjo’s administration, and he is correct,” he said. Nonetheless, Atiku attempted to betray, destroy, and undermine that government to the point where I asked him to resign from the cabinet because he was working against us.
“As a result, he is untrustworthy.” Someone who could not be trusted during Obasanjo’s presidency cannot be trusted by Nigerians. He has deposed five governors, destroyed the party, and denied Southerners the presidential ticket and party chairmanship. This is one of the reasons Tinubu, in our opinion, is ahead of him.
“He (Peter Obi) issued ID cards to northerners when he was governor of Anambra State.” He is waving the Biafran flag. His running mate advocated for homosexuals to be executed publicly. Datti Baba-ignorance Ahmed’s is incredible.”
