2023: Gumi, Tukur Mamu, and Atiku are close friends who despise Buhari, according to Fani Kayode.
Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
Atiku Abubakar, the PDP presidential candidate, is connected to Ahmad Gumi, the principal of recently jailed terrorist negotiator Tukur Mamu, according to former aviation minister Femi Fani-Kayode.
Recall that Track News previously reported that Mamu was detained on Wednesday by the Department of State Services (DSS).
Mamu was picked up by DSS from the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano after being deported from Egypt. Mamu was reportedly detained at the Cairo International Airport on Tuesday and repatriated back to Nigeria.
Before being held by Egyptian police for 24 hours, Mamu was reportedly traveling to Saudi Arabia with his family to perform a smaller Hajj.
At around 1:55 PM, armed personnel stationed at the entrance to the Kano’s international wing made him a target for arrest.
Further research has shown that when the DSS searched the lead negotiator’s residence on Thursday, they uncovered evidence.
However, FFK has asserted that Atiku, Mamu, and Gumi are associates in a statement they made on Mamu’s arrest on Friday.
Mamu and Gumi are close friends with former vice president Atiku Abubakar, a Waziri from Adamawa, and the opposition PDP’s presidential candidate, he wrote.
Are close because they have frequently flown on private jets across the country together, not just because they took a picture together.
They supported Atiku Abubakar in the 2019 presidential election and are currently supporting, pushing for, and running for him in the 2023 presidential election, which is why I say they are close to him.
The former minister continued by claiming that Mamu and Gumi were among those who persuaded Atiku to run for president in order for the North to retain control.
He claimed that the three were so close that they harbored animosity for the federal government, the All Progressives Congress, and President Muhammadu Buhari.
FFK claimed that because of the depth of their relationship, security services ought to look into it.
