There is no official date for public holidays yet – Interior Ministry
The Ministry of Interior has denied that dates circulating online as the official dates for the Christmas holidays are correct.
Afonja Fatai Ajibola, the Director of Press and Public Relations, denied the trending news attributed to the Ministry on the announcement of public holidays for the yuletide in a statement to Track News on Saturday.
“The Ministry of Interior wishes to state unequivocally that the trending story is false, as the Federal Government has yet to formally declare a public holiday,” he said.
He advised the public to disregard the trending statement as false and to wait for a formal public announcement on the matter in the coming days.
