EPL: Manager Chelsea keeping tabs on revealed as Potter faces pressure
Chelsea are reportedly keeping tabs on former Barcelona manager, Luis Enrique amid pressure on current head coach Graham Potter at Stamford Bridge.
According to Fichajes, Chelsea could make a move for Enrique if they choose to replace Potter.
The report added that Chelsea have ‘meddled strongly’ with the idea of making a move for the Spaniard following Potter’s poor performance so far this season.
Despite the money spent by Chelsea since co-owner, Todd Boehly took over the west London club, results have not improved under Potter.
Enrique could be managing the likes of big-money signings Enzo Fernandez and Mykhailo Mudryk soon.
The former Spain coach has been out of a job since the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, where his side crashed out in a penalty shootout defeat against Morocco in the knock-out stages.
A move to Chelsea would signal a return to club football for the 52-year-old for the first time since 2017 – when he was managing Barcelona
