Peter Obi’s Victory In Lagos Took Us Unaware, We Won’t Allow It To Happen Again– Bidoun Ajiboye
The Assistant Director Of Media and Publicity for the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, Bidoun Ajiboye, has described the victory of the presidential candidate of Labour Party, LP, Mr Peter Obi in Lagos State during the February 25 presidential election as “an insurgence upon our political fortress.”
Recall that the former Anambra State Governor defeated the presidential candidate of the ruling party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in Lagos.
The result is considered as one of the greatest upsets of the presidential poll as Lagos is considered a stronghold of the ruling party and its flag bearer.
According to the APC chieftain, the performance of the LP flag bearer in the state actually caught the ruling party unaware.
He said the ruling party has woken up and they will not allow it to happen again.
The APC assistant media director said people can not understand what it will mean for Labour Party to win Lagos State in the March 18 governorship polls.
He stated this on Tuesday during an interview with Arise Television.
He said, “We are now very much awake and know where and what to do to ensure that a repeat of such calamity does not happen. People do not understand the enormity of what it would mean for the Labour Party to win Lagos state,
