Pochettino’s decision on becoming next Chelsea manager revealed
Former Tottenham boss, Mauricio Pochettino does not fancy becoming the manager at Stamford Bridge as he is waiting for the top job at Real Madrid.
The Argentine has little interest in replacing Graham Potter at Chelsea who was unsurprisingly sacked on Sunday night.
Potter was shown the exit door at Stamford Bridge in less than seven months after he moved from Brighton to become Chelsea boss.
Concerns were high following the Blues’ 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, a result that left the Blues in the bottom half of the table.
The search for a manager started in earnest and the likes of former Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann has also been mentioned.
But Nagelsmann is said to be in no rush to make a decision on his future having been dismissed by Bayern just over a week ago.
For this reason, former PSG boss Pochettino is the next favourite but is also heavily tipped to replace Antonio Conte at Tottenham.
However, according to TYC Sports via talkSPORT, the Argentine will not accept any job from any English clubs as he hopes to be appointed at Real Madrid if and when Carlo Ancelotti departs.
Other names linked with Chelsea include ex-Spain boss Luis Enrique, Frankfurt’s Oliver Glasner and Sporting Lisbon’s Ruben Amorim
