Sixteen days to the inauguration ceremony of president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, leaders of the youth wing of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have announced a show tagged, ‘Renewed Hope Concert’ to celebrate the victory with other Nigerian youths.
The event is scheduled for May 25 at the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
According to the organisers, the first-ever inauguration youth concert will feature top-notch entertainers from across the country.
A statement signed by the Chairman, Renewed Hope Concert Media Committee, Ademuyiwa Adebola Taofeek said the event was planned as an inclusive celebratory activity for young people who contributed to the party’s victory.
“It is an inclusive celebration of young people across the country who knocked on doors, persuaded friends, braved great risks, and stood firm to ensure the safe delivery of the Renewed Hope agenda of our next president, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” part of the statement reads.
“The concert is a way of acknowledging and appreciating their sacrifice and also an opportunity for us all to merry and network as we anticipate the formal assumption of office of our victorious City Boy.”
With 12 days until the gig, the Venue Committee alongside members from the Entertainment Committee have took an inspection visit to the venue of the eagerly anticipated event.
