Shooting Stars still work in progress – Ogunbote
Shooting Stars manager, Gbenga Ogunbote has stated that his team is still a work in progress.
The Oluyole Warriors were bashed 3-0 by Remo Stars in their Naija Super Eight zonal play-offs match on Friday at Eket Township Stadium.
Ogunbote believed that the lapses identified during the encounter will help the team get better.
“It’s an impressive pre-season tournament to showcase teams’ progress ahead of the new Nigeria Premier League season,” he told Track news in Eket.
“We are just assembling from our end of season break and we are trying to work more on our potential signings, but it’s a work in progress.
“My coaching staff will continue to improve on the lapses identified.”
