APC Speaks on Tinubu’s Ministerial List
All Progressives Congress (APC) has reacted to the much-awaited ministerial nominees list of President Bola Tinubu that was read out on the floor of the Senate yesterday.
The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, while fielding questions on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Thursday evening, said the list was evident that the President is determined to give his best in office.
Morka, who acknowledged the delay in the submission of the list, said the President was taking time to carefully select his cabinet that will help him deliver on his mandate to Nigerians, TrackNews Media gathered.
He noted that “The President is someone who is determined to do well as a leader, President of this country.
“He has taken his time. I know a lot of people were expecting that this list would have come out sooner than it did, but the man (is) really taking a lot of care to ensure that he puts together a team that can help him succeed as President.”
This platform reported on Thursday that President Bola Tinubu finally submitted the list of his ministerial nominees to the Senate for confirmation.
It was gathered that the list comprises former governors, technocrats, and chieftains of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The President of the Nigerian Senate, Godswill Akpabio, read the twenty-eight ministerial nominee list.
The ministerial list was delivered to the Senate on Thursday by the President’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila.
