JUST-IN;Tinubu approves appointment of Adewale as Comptroller-General of Nigeria Customs Service
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the confirmation of the appointment of Adewale Adeniyi (MFR) as the Comptroller-General (CG) of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).
Before his official confirmation today, Adeniyi was now in the CG of the NCS in an acting capacity.
The appointment takes effect from 19th October 2023, and his tenure is under the extant provisions of the Public Service Rules.
In a statement signed by Willams Bassey, director of information in the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, the president tasked the new Customs CG to bring his wealth of experience to bear on his new assignment.
