Naira Abuse: Bobrisky pleads guilty in court
Cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye on Friday pleaded guilty to a four-count charge of abuse of the naira and money laundering preferred against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, at a Lagos court.
The self-acclaimed transgender, also known as Bobrisky, was arrested in Lagos on Wednesday night for allegedly mishandling naira notes.
The crossdresser was arrested for allegedly spraying and damaging the currency notes at an event.
He was also arraigned on a six-count charge but two of the charges were dropped following a discussion between the parties.
The court proceeding was still ongoing as of the time of filing this report.
