Boko Haram: Gov Bello reacts to report of terrorists forcefully converting Nigerians to Islam in Niger
Recall that Fani-Kayode in a video shared on His Twitter page on Sunday showed how the terrorists gathered residents of a community praying in Islam.
He had claimed that the insurgents were forcefully converting Nigerians to Islam in a village it captured.
But reacting, Bello in a Tweet, described The video as false.
According to him, the video is old and it does not originate from Nigeria or Niger State.
“This widely shared video on social media is totally misleading and the work of those who wish to see the country up in flames.
“As citizens, we should rather use our vantage position to complement the peace efforts of the government than spread fake news, cause disunity, raise unnecessary alarm capable of causing disaffection among the peace-loving people of Niger State and Nigeria at large,”he added
