Bayelsa Govt Kicks Off Glory Drive Phase III and Ring Road Construction

The Bayelsa State government has announced the commencement of the Glory Drive Phase III project and the mobilisation of contractors for the Oxbow Lake-Agbura Ring Road construction.
This development has garnered praise from the SALGA Chapter of the United Front for Douye Diri (UFDD), a prominent non-governmental socio-political organisation.
In a statement by the SALGA Coordinator of UFDD, Hon. Erepamo Komboye, the group commended Governor Douye Diri for his unwavering commitment to the state’s development. Komboye highlighted the economic benefits of these projects, emphasizing that the new road infrastructure will alleviate traffic congestion and facilitate the movement of goods and services.

Hon. Timothy Diekivie Itiedu, the Director General of UFDD, also lauded the governor’s dedication to infrastructural development. He called on all Bayelsans, irrespective of party affiliation, to support the Prosperity Government led by Governor Douye Diri to ensure a united effort towards a more prosperous Bayelsa State.
The UFDD reiterated its commitment to backing the policies and programmes of Governor Douye Diri to achieve the desired development outcomes for the state.
