Former NEMA DG Dumps APC For PDP In Kaduna
A former Director General, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Alhaji Mohammed Sani Sidi, has dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
TrackNews reports that the former NEMA DG announced this at the PDP Kaduna central senatorial office on Saturday.
Speaking to his supporters at the senatorial office, Sidi described the main opposition party as his home, stressing that he “is back home for good.”
The former APC guber aspirant urged to unite at all levels so it can progress at the local, state and federal levels.
Speaking on his governorship ambition, Sidi said he is still consulting with party stakeholders, chieftains and loyalists.
According to the former DG, he would make his position known to the public soon.
“It is no longer a rumour, I have just declared my aspiration in my ward. I’m now a member of PDP. I’m just coming back home from my party. We are consulting with stakeholders on my aspiration.
“The leaders and stakeholders of PDP need to unite otherwise we would not succeed. As politicians and members of PDP, we need to come together and unite for our party to progress and forge ahead,” he said.
TrackNews reports a former Commissioner for Science and Technology, Prof. Dogara Mato, former PDP Zonal Secretary, Barr. M. Aliyu, among others, accompanied Sidi to the secretariat.
