Ademola Lookman adds to Super Eagles withdrawals

Ademola Lookman today added to the withdrawals that have hit the Super Eagles ahead of Monday’s 2025 AFCON qualifier Rwanda in Uyo.

The Atalanta BC forward has returned to Italy after he said he suffered a knock during Thursday’s qualifier against Benin in Abidjan.

He is the third player to quit before the Rwanda match after Ola Aina returned to Premier League club Nottingham Forest and goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali was granted compassionate leave following the death of his father.
