President Muhammadu Buhari congratulated the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) on the conclusion of its conference, which resulted in the election of Mr Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, SAN, as President.
According to a statement issued Monday by the President’s Media Adviser, Femi Adesina,
congratulated the legal luminary on becoming the 31st President of the highly regarded association, which has played a significant role in the country’s democratic and economic development through advocacy, counseling, and collaboration with governments over the years.
The President praised the NBA’s outgoing President, Olumide Akpata, and all of the national leaders who elevated the organization, particularly through new partnerships and technology integration.
President Buhari stated that he looks forward to a healthy working relationship with the NBA’s new national leaders, believing that the legal body’s noble and patriotic antecedents will be upheld and further projected to the world.
