Actor Frederick Leonard Writes After EFCC Arrests Impostor Who Scammed A Woman Of N104m Using His Name
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has successfully arrested, arraigned and secured the conviction of one Kelvin Aisosa Orhue, who impersonated Nollywood actor, Frederick Leonard, and successfully scammed one Cheryldene Cook of N104 million.
The EFCC in a statement released said Aisosa impersonated Frederick Leonard and used his identity to scam Cheryldene of N104 million as well as $26, 020. When the charges were read to him, he pleaded guilty.
Reacting to the arrest via his Instagram page, Frederick wondered how some women allow themselves to be deceived by people with unverified accounts. He wrote;
