I Was Possessed When I Did It – Man Cries Out As He Is Arraigned For Recording A Woman In The Toilet
A man has been arrested and charged to court for making a video footage of a woman while she was in the toilet in a petrol station in Westlands, Nairobi.
The accused, Mark Mutongi made a video of Margret Wangari without her consent on October 7 at Rubis petrol station.
The court prosecutor Robert Ogallo told the court that Wangari heard some movement behind the washroom and that was when she knew something was amiss.
He said: “After she was done she heard some movement behind the washroom.”
Wangari revealed that the accused movement alerted her and she realized that Mutongi had placed his phone in the toilet window and was making a video of her.
She immediately called on other women who were in the area and the suspect was apprehended.
When Mutongi appeared before the senior principal magistrate, Charles Mwaniki at Kibera Law Court, he pleaded guilty to the offence while also stating that the devil was to blame for his actions because he was possessed when he began making the recording.
