Man arrested for allegedly drugging, sodomizing minor in Jigawa
Police in Jigawa State have arrested a 20-year-old boy over alleged drugging and sodomising of a minor in Gumel Local Government.
Police spokesman, ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam confirmed the arrest.
He told TrackNews Online that the incident happened on Sunday at Kofar Saja quarters in Gumel.
He disclosed that one Hamza Bulama Kailu took a 12-year-old boy into his friend’s house and forcefully had a carnal knowledge of him.
Adam explained that the suspect allegedly used dangerous drugs inside a soft drink to drug his victim.
He said as a result, the victim fell asleep and the suspect later forcefully had a carnal knowledge of him through his anus.
The police spokesman said the suspect was arrested and the victim was taken to sexual referral center Dutse for medical examination.
