“Don’t Compare Me To Portable” – Terry G Issues Stern Warning
Nigerian singer, Gabriel Oche Amanyi, popularly known as Terry G, has warned those comparing him to his controversial colleague, Habeeb Okikiola better known as Portable.
Recall that Portable attracted comparison to Terry G following his recent drama with operatives of the Nigeria Police Force, when he resisted arrest.
In a viral video, the ‘Zazoo’ crooner lambasted some officers who stormed his bar in the Sanga Ota area of Ogun State to arrest him.
He claimed that an internet fraudster had brought the police to his bar to arrest him and his staff members “for no reason”.
He refused to cooperate with the officers, boasting that he was a “superstar” and works for the ruling party.
His action elicited mixed reactions on social media, and some fans compared his crazy attitude to that of ‘Free Madness’ crooner, Terry G.
However, the comparison did not sit well with the ‘Akpako Master’ who warned fans not to compare “original” with “photocopy”.
A Twitter user had asked those who had compared Portable’s behaviour to that of Terry G to apologize to the singer.
“Those of you that compared Terry G’s madness to Portable should apologize right now!!!,” the user tweeted.
Reacting, Terry G wrote, “In this craze business please never you compare original to photocopy because una mind go dey soon G.”
