APC’ll regret losing Kwankwaso –Nkire
Former member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Caucus, Chief Sam Nkire, has predicted that the party will regret forcing out strong and popular members including Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
Chief Nkire told newsmen at the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Ppesidential campaign mega rally in Kano, on Sunday, that, going by the unprecedented crowd at the rally, it was obvious that “what was APC’s loss will become PDP’s gain the forthcoming general elections.”
He said Nigeria’s democracy is coming of age and that any political party that adopts arrogance and discrimination as a creed, without respect for each other, is bound to face the fate that awaits the ruling party at the polls.
The former APC leader, who is now a member of the PDP Board of Trustees urged Nigerians to begin to hold their leaders accountable, and added; “even as it is almost certain that Atiku will be president in 2019, if he fails to keep his promises, Nigerians will vote him out in 2023.”
Nkire, however, said he strongly believes that the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, will not let Nigerians down but will deliver on his promises to improve the economy, create jobs for the teeming population of jobless Nigerians and fight insurgency.
He opined that the APC would certainly pay dearly for also maltreating people like Atiku, Senate presidenet, Dr. Bukola Saraki, Sokoto Governor, Aminu Tambuwal and others.
