Binani empowers youths, women with 41 tricycles

TRACKING______Chairman of the Senate Committee on Sustainable Development Goals, Senator Aishatu Binani (Gimbiyar Adamawa) has supported 41 youths and women in Adamawa Central Senatorial zone with tricycles.

Represented by the wife of the late Chief of Staff in the state, Hajia Aishatu Abdulrahman Abba Jimeta, Senator Binani presented 41 tricycles to beneficiaries in Yola.

The Senator said: “I believe in empowerment because that is the quickest way to create wealth and bridge the unemployment gaps.

“I will continue to devote my tenure to assist in helping our youths and women to be self-reliant.

“I appeal to all the beneficiaries to make good use of the tricycles to sustain themselves and create wealth.”

While presenting the keys to the tricycles to the beneficiaries, APC Chairman Adamawa state Ibrahim Bilal praised Senator Binani for making the party proud in the state.

“As the only APC Senator from Adamawa, we are very proud to call you our own especially with this empowerment coming again in less than a month after your last empowerment on the 1st of this month (October).

Former Speaker of Adamawa State House of Assembly, Mohammed Turaki, who spoke on behalf of the elders of the zone, praised the Senator for representing Adamawa Central and the APC well at the upper chamber of the National Assembly.

“This is the third time I am being invited for empowerment by Senator Binani in the space of one year. No one needs a soothsayer to be told Senator Binani is a great asset to Adamawa State. I, therefore, assure her of our maximum support whenever and wherever the need arises.”
