Former Ondo lawmaker Lubi dies in car crash
A former Minority Leader of the Ondo House of Assembly, Akpoebi Lubi, has died in an auto crash.
The accident reportedly occurred in the Owena area, Ifedore Local Government Area of the state.
Until his demise, Lubi was the Special Adviser to Senator Nicholas Tofowomo on Strategy and Special Interest.
Tofowomo of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) represents Ondo South. He is the Vice-Chairman Senate Committee on Land Transport.
Lubi represented Ese-Odo State Constituency under the PDP when Segun Mimiko was the Governor.
He was formerly the Caretaker Chairman of Ese-Odo Local Government and served as Special Assistant on Niger Delta Affairs to Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
