Hoodlums burgle Bayelsa judiciary complex
TRACKING >>The Bayelsa State High Court complex was on Tuesday burgled by hoodlums suspected to be cultists.
This has caused panic among lawyers and workers in the Ministry of Justice.
It was gathered that the cultists stormed the complex at night and fled after operating unchallenged for hours. They burgled the offices of the Chief Judge, Justice Kate Abiri and Justice Nayai Aganaba, and stole case files, computers and other legal materials, fuelling speculations that the operation was designed to frustrate some high-profile cases.
The police are said to be investigating some judiciary employees working at the complex.
Police spokesman Butswat Asinim said the police were investigating the situation to unmask the culprits.
