NDDC/ ENGR. UDENGS SOURCES MORE AREAS OF PARTNERSHIP TO ENGAGED NIGER DELTA YOUTHS.
It is now a common knowledge to all and sundry that the SA to the Sole Administrator, NDDC, Engr. Udengs Eradiri, is a man of unmatched capacity.
Since from assumption of office till date the SA has not slept a day without working out one modality or the other aimed at engaging the youths in the Niger Delta Region.
Against this backdrop, the SA has earlier today gone into partnerships with the information and communications units of two major entrepreneurial oriented universities in the Region. They are Rivers State University of Science and Technology (UST) and University of Port-Harcourt (UNIPORT). The pretext of the partnership is to engage and train youths in the area of ICT development as the Commission is poised to reducing the menace of youth restiveness and that when successfully trained they will be CEOs of their own businesses and employers of labour.
Both universities expressed confidence and readiness in the partnership with the commission to train youth in respective areas of ICT development and thanked the SA for the thoughtfulness, and maintained that this has not happened in the history of the commission and prayed God to help in the actualization of the well thought-out idea of the SA on Youth Matter, Engr. Udengs Eradiri.
